Empathy Technology

Empathy is not a feeling — it is a practiced form of intelligence, grounded in relation

distinguishing between:

  1. The emotional state → a psychological and or physical condition (e.g. I am angry, I am ashamed I am sleeping I am tired)

  1. The felt somatic experience of that emotion → bodily signals (e.g. I feel heat, tightness, toxicity, heart

  2. Feelings are words for the metabolic state of production of emotional reaction on mirroring

Emotions have a language: feelings.

That means:

  • Emotion = the organizing force

  • propioseption = the sensory data it produces — the internal narration or physical response

  • feelings = the naming of the emotions produced in the body, only possible with propioseption and awareness

the word ´feeling´ r used incorrectly all the time in our era: EX: I feel u r attacking me. This is not a feeling.

 

The Art of Empathy

Communication techniques with emphasis on equally stressing all intelligences (logical, musical, kinesthetical, spatial, linguistic) and practicing this in an sender receiver event;

emotional containing the ability to express (ones) reality and experience reciprocal boundary skills (rather than emotional acting out),

  • Interpersonal emotional awareness - based on the knowledge of intra-emotional awareness and how to manifest this reality in expressing it and relating to others.

  • Intra-emotional awareness - techniques to understand the inner landscape, its construction and external manifestation. Practices to reshape and reconstruct if not beneficial to health.

  • Knowledge development - Socratic work frame for developing knowledge in academic and political decision making.
